- Open oak (Quercus fusiformis-Quercus marilandica-Quercus stellata) savanna with understory dominated by mixed-grass prairie vegetation and Yucca gluaca, and with Aloysia gratissima and Diospyros texensis scattered in sheltered sites; extensive, coarse-grained, Town Mountain preCambrian granite bedrock expanses with frequent seeps and large, gravelly, wet-weather depressions; and massive, sphaeroidally weathered, granite boulders on E- and W-facing slopes along +/- N-S-trending ravine along unnamed tributary to Comanche Creek.
