- Scrubby to open woodland on rocky, +/-NW-SE-trending limestone ridge above Little Willow Creek with Quercus fusiformis scattered to common on W and S-facing slopes, and Acacia roemeriana, Berberis trifoliolata, Cercis texensis, Diospyros texensis, Mimosa borealis, Opuntia engelmnnii, Quercus sinuata var. breviloba and Yucca rupicola in understory, and Quercus buckleyi becoming common on N-facing slopes, with understory of Celtis reticulata, Forestiera pubescens, Morus microphylla, Rhusa aromatica, Smilax bona-nox and Sophora secundiflora; and scrubby to open Juniperus ashei-Porsopis glandulosa-Quercus fusiformis woodland on gentle S-facing slopes at base of ridge. Surfacing chalky limestone of Early Cretaceous Edwards Limestone common at top of ridge, with rocky limestone soil and scattered chert residuum; Cretaceous Hensell Sand cropping out at base of ridge.
