- NAIG 2023 Host Society developed a pin in partnership with a local Mi’kmaw artist, Gerald Gloade. Collecting and trading pins was common and often referred to as the “unofficial sport” at major games. It was a great way to bring people together, make new friends, and collect souvenirs.

- NAIG 2023 Host Society developed a pin in partnership with a local Mi’kmaw artist, Gerald Gloade. The collecting and trading of pins was often referred to as the “unofficial sport” of the major games. Pin trading was not just for athletes but also spectators, volunteers, and supporters of the games. NAIG was hosted in Kjipuktuk (Halifax) July 15-23, 2023. NAIG is the largest multi-sport and cultural event in Atlantic Canada: 5250 Athletes, 16 sports, and 3 age divisions (male & female), over 750 Indigenous Nations represented, and 3,000+ volunteers contributed 60,000+ hours across 60 venues.
