- The Ashburn Golf Club, located on Joseph Howe Drive, has been a fixture in Halifax sport for over 90 years, opening in 1923 when Governor General Lord Byng teed off in an opening ceremony. The Old Course was designed by Stanley Thompson and remains a popular destination for golfers in the city.
Ashburn’s New Course opened in 1970 in Fall River and was designed by Geoffrey Cornish.
