Description
“At the beginning of potlatches the doors would be locked and the Tlu-kwana (Wolf Dancers) would enter the building. They would crawl around with cedar boughs and bless the floor for the ceremonies about to happen. Here we see the dancer wearing cedar boughs. The figure at the top left of the design is Raven in the form of a mountain. Raven is a messenger to the people."
