- Silver-coloured cents coin decorated on one side with King George VI's head and the inscription 'GEORGIUS VI D. G. REX ET IND: IMP:'. The other side is decorated with a V and a lit torch , surrounded by 'CANADA 1945 CENTS'. Facetted edge. Coin contained within a cream square envelope.;Silver-coloured 5cent coin decorated on one side with King George VI's head and the inscription 'GEORGIUS VI DEI GRATIA REX'. The other side is decorated with a goup of six buildings and a central chimney , surrounded by 'CANADA NICKEL 1751 -1951 5 CENTS' and a group of three maple leaves. Milled edge. Coin contained within a cream square envelope with '8' on front.
