Description
PARENT RECORD. Relic of Canadian soldier, Private S Hindle, 49th Canadian Battalion Canadian Infantry, Edmonton Regiment, killed in First World War; two medals, First World War
Narrative
Two medals labelled as 23/1962.D1 and 23/1962.D1 and stamped with 'Pte S. Hindle 49-Can.Inf.' were located during an audit in Jan 2022 and matched up with this record, despite the accession number discrepency. This record was turned into a parent record and two new further part-numbered records for the individual medals were created to document and keep track of them individually. Lauren Padgett 13.1.2022.
