Relic of Canadian soldier, Private S Hindle, 49th Canadian Battalion Canadian Infantry, Edmonton Regiment, killed in First World War. WW1 Victory medal, also known as the Inter-Allied Victory medal. Stamped: Pte S. Hindle 49-Can.Inf.
Narrative
Two medals labelled as 23/1962.D1 and 23/1962.D1 and stamped with 'Pte S. Hindle 49-Can.Inf.' were located during an audit in Jan 2022 and matched up with 23:1962.7, despite the accession number discrepency.
