- Carved spoon, light brown in colour with an oval shaped bowl. The handle is roughly rectangular in shape and is pierced with a circular perforation less than halfway up its length. The handle narrows slightly towards its end. Hardwood, usually alder, maple or yew were used to make spoons and ladles on the Northwest Coast.
